President Donald Trump lashed out at Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., on his Truth Social platform Tuesday, after the Kentucky lawmaker brushed off the president’s vow to back a primary challenger against him.

“Third Rate Congressman Thomas Massie, of the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky, a phenomenal State that I won all three times (by a lot!), keeps talking about how he is going to protect the Constitution, but he is actually very bad for the Constitution, and will probably vote against ‘THE GREAT, BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL,'” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post early Tuesday.

Trump then launched into a litany of provisions that the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” would fund — including border security, tax cuts, and the Golden Dome — before complaining that Massie is “against all of the above, and many other incredible things.”
