Convicted thief Anna Sorokin, whose life and crimes are the subject of the Netflix drama “Inventing Anna” said she is “disturbed” and “horrified” after three rabbits used in her photo shoot were dumped in a nearby New York park.

Sorokin, also known as Anna Delvey, gained notoriety following a widely publicized trial. Posing as a wealthy heiress, she conned Manhattan’s elite through a fabricated trust fund. Recently, she posed for a photo outside the Tribeca subway station with a black ankle monitor and holding two leashed rabbits. She was required under the terms of her 2022 prison release to wear the ankle monitor.

Social media soon linked the abandoned rabbits found in Prospect Park in Brooklyn with Sorokin’s photo shoot.
