The Biden campaign took aim at Donald Trump on Thursday, releasing a statement calling the Republican presumptive nominee a “danger to the Constitution and a threat to our democracy.”
The Biden-Harris campaign email blast came in response to Trump’s comments a day earlier that he would accept the 2024 election results “if everything’s honest,” a phrase the Democrat contenders omitted from their email.
The Biden campaign also referenced comments Trump made to Time Magazine last week, when he said political violence in November would depend “on the fairness of the election.” Trump also told Time, “I don’t think you’ll have political violence.
